Cardwell Seafest is an annual community festival that celebrates Cardwell and showcases our lifestyle on the Cassowary Coast.
It’s a family friendly event with free entertainment and loads of kids activities. Fun for all the family .
Events
- Saturday: Car show on the foreshore
- Saturday Night: Spectacular fireworks, food vans and licensed bar.
- Sunday: Markets and family fun day.
- Pie Eating.
- Prawn Peeling.
- Chuck a Mullet. Crab races.
- Hoolahooping.
- Good old fashioned favourites – egg n spoon and sac races.
- Pirates and mermaids Fancy Dress.
- Captain Jack Sparrow and Ariel the mermaid come to town.
It’s a fun filled weekend of great food, live entertainment… and a licensed bar.
